Animated promo & menu theme designed

Footage was shot in different sequences then blended together to create a seamless animation of the burger building. I had received the footage of each element of the food shot on their own and was to bring them together in the form of a meal and add some animation to the promo. I added the most subtle bounce to the bun when it lands.

I had fun creating the logo animation for this. Spicy was the theme so using flame animations seemed fitting. The logo starts to appear like embers in a fire then fills in to spell out the name of the sandwich. I then have red circle stay on fire after it appear and at the end it get blown out like candle or a stick from the fire that is still on fire. All these elements together fit into the Festive themed menu very well.

3D MODELING

3D asset creation to support the requirement to be able to visualize body types.

Using DAZ Studio I was able to create the male figure and apply morphs to show toned, built, overweight and natural body types. I then moved the models to Cinema3D for lighting and rendering.

When embarking on this task we discovered many detailed male body 3d models to leverage but the challenge was we needed the models to be consistent from a visual point of view. More so, we envisioned a way to animate in realtime the changes to the body in the app. This is what led us to consider using DAZ Studio. This allowed us to have limitless morphs all on a consistent looking male model and animate these body morph from keyframe to keyframe. The rendering exercise was to get photorealistic quality. Setting up the model in a studio lighting environment was the best way to achieve. When we considered texturing we landed on using a clean, ceramic-like material.
